At the end of the day, it seems that the point of the entire exercise of playing VGs is fun
An earthshattering conclusion, I must say ... Who would have thought that?

Well one thing I think Sony did well in the past was churn a product. Unfortunately they didn't churn enough to make the PS3 innovative enough to want anyone to upgrade.
I mean how much more realistic do you want the graphics to be? Yet another disk format? yuck. Todays gamer is looking for something to knock their socks off and put them in a place that they've never been. I think the Nintendo winning combo of DS and Wii has proved that the underdog can innovate and beat the big players at their own game.

I just have to ask: what happened to Sony? They used to be the king of the hill. But one blunder after another seems to just chip away at that image I have of them.
The bottom line to me is that in the end the consumer will speak with their $$. The Wii is cheaper and the innovative controller is the way of the future. Everyone dreams about being put inside the game. The Wii puts us one step closer to that goal.
