Because radio ain't "free"
This may show how much I am actually paying attention, but I noticed WOXY has now gone to a listener supported model paid through BPass ... not unlike KNAC has had in place for quite a while now. I guess with KNAC it seems a litle less obvious that they are pushing a subscription on you. But in any case, with both, you can still listen for free at 24k which is quite generous of them ... and can also be used for indecisive mooching, I suppose

You know at first when I thought of the pay for TV issue ... I thought that since it was post-air like DVD seasons or even iT is post-air, that essentially they viewed it as you wanted to own it ... feel free to buy it
But now with shows like Conviction where they sell it to you BEFORE it even airs ... yikes, I think they are heading where you suspect they are

Just thinking how iTunes and bittorrent have changed everything including media that was once free. Can you believe people are paying for TV shows now? I guess its only a matter of time before the networks figure this part out....
