Been Around the Block Enough to Know

A somewhat enigmatic title, I know ... but like, there are some points in your life where you say, I know how this will shake out, so I don't need to pay some expert to tell me something ... well something they have told me a number of times before

So, as the new year's variety of flu strikes me ... I don't need to be put on hold at the doctor, to talk to a nurse, who will ask me questions, tell me to rest and drink plenty o'fluids, take some suda and tyle, and then be told okay, if you get worse, call us

Why would I? Same stuff, different year ... someone wake me when we discover the cure for the common cold

yep. same ol, same ol. Best thing to do is stay home get more sleep and drink liquids like a person who just ate a hot tamale!
