Flightplan
Well as all of us know, the humid weather has just been a killer the past handful of days
So, SD and I decided to beat the heat and catch Flightplan ... well, at least, the theater was very cool
Jodie Foster can act ... and act really well. She has so much acting range it is darn near ridiculous
One thing that can be said is that she acted the heck out of her role in FP. That alone is really the highlight of the movie
The premise of the movie that a parent can lose their child on an airplane mid-flight is certainly interesting "on paper" ... the way this film executed it, was so full of holes and logical flaws that at the end, you get the feeling of wow, that was a terrible waste of time ... that and some really cliched situations, it became like Airplane: The Outtakes That Weren't Funny
In the interest of not spoiling it for those who have nothing better to spend $8 bucks on, it really makes me wonder what it was about this movie that made producers go man, this is like so good
In fact I wonder what made Jodie F. think man, this is like so good LOL
It wasn't good and ... it really seems like Ebert has lost it ... 3.5 stars ... dear God, man !!!!
