Initially, I really liked getting mass email from issues based groups and from national leaders ... that was until I started to notice that the issues based email which I used to keep myself current, started changing with more regularity into CAN YOU GIVE US MONEY for this ... CAN YOU GIVE US MONEY for that
If you understand like me that the premise behind most of this is that they would like to raise awareness and MOBILIZE PEOPLE ... that to me, requires ways to persuade people to be active, not persuade people to give more and more
