BOT 1: Pedro pitching for the Mets -- Jeter blasts a solo shot into the bleachers in right center, Yankees lead, 1-0

Cano pops the first pitch foul to third, one gone -- Sheffield flies to left ... Floyd doesn't get there and lets it drop for a single -- ARod lines a single to left, runner to second on the hit -- Matsui grounds to first, runners advance to second and third on the play, two away -- Bernie grounds to second to end the rally ... had that feeling it should have been more

TOP 2: Anderson lines to first ... off the glove of Tino and into right for a leadoff single -- full count to Wright, the payoff ... he draws a walk, runners now first and second --

Mientkiewicz lays down a great bunt to third, Mussina can only field, he does not have a play ... that will be a bunt single, the bases are now loaded

Castro hits the first pitch and lines to right, one run scores on the sacfly, and a runner advances to third -- the score is now tied, 1-1

Runners at the corners for Reyes, he flies to right center ... Bernie just drops the fly ball, one run scores on the sacfly and the runner to second on the error -- Mets now lead, 2-1

Runners now first and second for Cameron ... on a checkback to second throw by Muss, it gets away from Cano and into center, it draws a throw to third ... the runners advance to second and third

Cameron flies to right, a run scores on the sacfly, and the lag runner to third, two gone -- the score is now Mets 3-1

Runner at third for Beltran, he pops to short to end the bizarre rally

BOT 2: Posada goes down looking, one down -- Tino grounds to second, two away -- Womack goes down swinging ... uno dos adios, to end the inning

TOP 3: Floyd lasers the 2-0 for a solo shot to right -- Mets now lead, 4-1

Piazza flies to left, one away -- Anderson lines to right, two gone -- Wright goes down looking to end the rally

Cameron slides and makes the catch, great play, one down -- Sheffield takes an awkward cut ... this will be fair and flies to right near the line, two gone -- ARod flies the first pitch to right to end the inning

TOP 6: Wright goes down swinging, one gone -- Mientkiewicz grounds to second -- Castro flies to right to retire the side

BOT 6: Matsui flies to left center, one away -- Sturtze warms for Yankees --Bernie flies to left, two down -- Posada grounds to first to end the inning

Reyes is way into left from short, he gets in the way of Floyd ... the ball hits Floyd's glove, pops up ... and he squeezes it, two gone -- ARod grounds the first pitch up the middle and into center for a two out single -- Matsui flies to center ... Beltran running after it, to the wall, leaps, makes the catch, bashes into the wall, holds on to it .... to end the inning, great defensive play by Beltran

TOP 9: Quantrill in for Yankees -- Looper warms for Mets -- full count to Mientkiewicz, he lines one the opposite way ... it bounces into the leftfield stands for a leadoff ground rule double -- runner at second for Castro, he grounds to second, runner to third on the play, one down

Proctor and Stanton warm for Yankees -- Reyes flies to center ... the runner will tag and score on the sacrifice fly -- Mets now lead, 6-2

Cameron flies to right to end the rally

BOT 9: Looper in to pitch for Mets, a mostly dominant outing by Pedro -- Bernie grounds to first, one down -- Posada draws a four pitch walk -- runner at first for Tino, full count, the payoff ... he blasts one into the stands in right center ... GONE!!, a two run shot -- the score is now Mets 6-4

Womack lays down a surprise bunt to third ... Wright barehands and guns ... Womack is called out, two down (replay: he was out) -- Jeter grounds the 1-2 through to right for a two out single -- Cano chops to second ... Anderson charges and guns ... Cano slides head first, but he is put down to end the game
