What's messed up about this beyond the add-a-run error by Jeter ... is that Leiter had two down, one on at first ... all self-inflicted

BOT 3: Sheffield flies to center, one down -- ARod lines a single to center -- Matsui lines a single to right, runners now first and second -- Posada blasts the 2-2 to the gap in right center, one run will score ... Matsui is waved, the throw is on time, nice block by Barajas who swipes a tag on Matsui who is out at the plate, two away -- the Rangers lead is halved to 4-2

Runner at second, two gone for Tino, he grounds a single through to center ... GMJ is having problems in center, Posada is waved home and scores easily -- the score is now TEX 4-3

Runner at first for Bernie, he blasts the full count payoff to right center ... GONE!!, a two out, two run shot -- the Yankees take their first lead, 5-4

Runner at first for Teixeira, full count, he battles and spoils, then grounds a single through to left -- Stottlemyre out to confer after the 2-1 to Blalock, Felix Rodriguez warms for NY -- runners now first and second for Blalock, another full count, the payoff ... he goes down swinging, the runner going ... the throw to third is on the money, a SO-TO double play to end the rally
