Can You Imagine

I suppose it is tremendously ironic to me to think of modern life today ... and think about how much personal "stress" we each have. There was a time when things were simpler, when all people were concerned about was a) what was for lunch? or food and b) trying not to be lunch to some predatory creature.

Now it's like we have artificial deadlines for this or that -- we place conditions on our happiness based on dubious criteria (e.g., how much $ we make, what kind of stuff we own, etc.) -- and we ultimately feel lost, when we have nowhere to go or nothing to do ... like we somehow need to be kept busy

The more I think about it, the more attractive voluntary simplicity is
