Eventful Night
Just a few thoughts, do you have a favorite restaurant in your neighborhood that you personally love and have been going to forever
I suppose the irony of such restaurants is that you love them more than they are good -- we went to such a place tonight, and I'm not the one who is in love with this restaurant, in case you were wondering ... and when I go to such places, I don't eat curveballs. In other words, I'm not there to try something that someone will farq up ... I'm there to eat, and leave the experimentation to others
Because people shop late ... we were at Swooshtown at a quarter to eleven tonight. I was amazed that it still was rather nicely filled with people -- I mean, who goes, hey I need some athletic apparel at like 10:00 at night when there are so many other things to do in tourist trap city
One thing that puzzled me about tonight is this ... if you invite people to a special occasion party, do you let them pay ... especially after you know that the guest of honor will be getting gifts? Well, it did strike me as bizarre
