BOT 1: Carlos Zambrano going for Cubs -- Jeter down looking, one gone -- Cano flies to left, two away -- Sheffield just lasers one out to left, solo shot ... umps confer, foul ball is called -- he draws a two out walk -- ARod down swinging to end the inning

Pavano and Brown are clearly having some problems as starters, however the Yankee bats of late have been equal to the task, salvaging two victories from the post-6th inning jaws of death recently
