Good old fashioned

Well, here's my first entry in about a week or so ... well at least one that doesn't involve hype, ranting, or baseball

Now that we are in the post-MJ trial era ... what will be news now?

It has been a while since good TV has been on USA, well, there once was a show called LFN which was fantastic (janitor was a huge fan of that show) ... anyways now there's the full season run of The 4400 mini-series. The best description I can think of is a blend of XMen, the XFiles, and crash TV (it keeps moving along) ... good stuff, I really like its pacing and style

---

I should have done a review for the new White Stripes, and I still haven't done one for the Ryan Adams and The Cardinals either. Well, I'll get around to it ... famous last words

---

As a matter of news commentary, what is with the social morality bullshit news locally in the past month or so -- stuff like they are going to dry out the UH campus, oh shock me, people at UH drink -- stuff like now they are going to stop people on beaches and in parks to stop drinking there, get this ...

BECAUSE OF VIOLENCE .... huh?

Otherwise, traffic congestion is a great news story because people always seem to crash or stall on the freeway -- Gas prices are a fantastic story, only because people seem to love SUVs and other inappropriately gas consumptive vehicles ... another anonymous jackass interviewee saying, please build rail, because gas is so expensive ... duh, look at the size of your ride, it's obviously inversely proportional to your intelligence ... let's not even discuss your designer sunglasses, wonder woman gold bracelets, and fancy hair streaks

As I once discusses here, I never saw the point of most people here until SD's grand aunt scolded her uncle and essentially said, some people's priorities are not the same as yours ... this was in response to saying that money for a baby's gold bracelet was better off in a savings account

It ain't too smart on the other side of town either ...

Moment of Zennn:

Gas available for the everyday consumption of you, me, and that person in the big ass truck with the DARK DARK glass will end by 2040 ... certainly it will be available for electricity and other industrial heavy use

The riddle is this ... if we build rail by 2020-2030 as is projected, will that be enough to deal with transportation demand when even hybrid cars won't have fuel to run

Popping popcorn in the microwave everyday and watching it all sink into the sea
... California love!!! LOL
