BOT 1: Bonderman going for Detroit today -- Jeter grounds back up the middle off the leaping pitcher's glove, the second baseman makes the play, one down -- Womack slaps at one and flies out to left, two down -- Sheffield flies out to deep right center to end the inning

TOP 2: Full count to (once) Pudge, he battles Brown, a quality AB, then gets a leadoff single over the leaping Jeter into left center -- Monroe flies to right, one down

BOT 2: Matsui grounds to first, one down -- ARod falls behind on the count, battles it full, and draws a walk -- Tino rips the first pitch down the first baseline and into the rightfield corner, runners now second and third

Runners at second and third, one down for Posada, he grounds the first offering at Pena, the ball hits his glove and goes through his legs, an error, one run scores, the Yankees lead 1-0

White hits a ball down the third base line that just dies on the line before the bag, infield hit, runners now at the corners, one down

Runners at the corners, two down for Womack, he loops the first pitch to short, the force play again at second to end the rally

BOT 5: Sheffield hits the 0-1 ... long, far, and .... foul, he grounds the 0-2 to second, one gone -- Matsui grounds a single to right through the infield

Runner at first, one down for ARod, he just misses to right ... and on the next pitch, a high, long majestic drive to deep center, two run HR ... wow!, the Yankees edge back into the lead, 4-3

Runners first and second, one down for Womack, he pops out to shallow left, two down -- Sheffield grounds to third, the force play is made at second to end the inning
