The End Is Near
The Peter Jackson directing and TV rumors notwithstanding, I guess I titled this entry this way because with the start of the Sith run tonight/late tomorrw morning, we are nearing the end of an era of Star Wars films that covered most of my life and was very influential in starting up some of the hobbies that persist and cost me $$ even until today -- in that way, the whole SW saga will always have a place in my formative years, and it makes me somehow sad to see it go
I have yet to decide whether I will continue my tradition starting with ROTJ of seeing the first showing of the last three movies. I must admit that for AOTC, standing in line for 2-1/2 hours, and then ... GASP ... falling asleep halfway through, makes the reason side of me say, yes you can go, but probably an hour into the nearly 2-1/2 hour epic I will be sleeping, so you will have to go again, so why not wait til this weekend for it to run at a reasonable hour, like 7:00PM or so, LOL

Companionship is always a good thing, I'm happy that you have found a partner to do many of the things you enjoy doing, good for you

I made the joke to 9K that we'd stand in line tonight to go see it and she said ok. I was only joking but that shows how far she's willing to go to have a good time with me. LOL.
We'll probably wait it out to see it as well. I'm anxious though as SW has been probably one of the biggest influences on me. Kikaida and Star Wars. There would be nothing better until the X-Men came around with Mr. Byrne and Austin.
